31 Days To Go!

We met for the first time at a mutual friend’s birthday party in January 2023. At the time, we were just familiar faces in the same crowd — nothing more, nothing less. But life has a quiet way of bringing the right people together when the timing is finally right.

About a year later, we started reconnecting. What began as casual conversation quickly turned into late-night talks, constant laughter, and this growing sense that something real was unfolding. We became best friends almost overnight — the kind of friends you want to be around all the time. And before we knew it, friendship started to shift into something deeper.

Before we were a couple, we bonded over food — always finding new places to eat, rating hot wings, and building what we now proudly call our “Wing Tier List.” (Current top spot: Sardella’s, 9/10.) We gamed late into the night, with Camden sacrificing sleep to stay up playing Fortnite even when he had to work at 7 a.m. the next day. Those nights were full of laughter, teamwork, and the beginning of something we both felt but didn’t want to rush.

It’s hard to say when our first date really was, because we were already doing so much together. But somewhere between, a simple text from Camden to Bailey that changed everything:

“Is it okay if I flirt with you?”

Spoiler alert: it was. And it was the start of something magical.

Our love grew quickly and naturally. There was no single “lightbulb” moment — just an ever-deepening admiration and affection. As Bailey describes it:

“Everything he did always impressed me. The way he joked. The way he showed love so openly. The way he did things with such ease that others never could. Every moment, I just loved him more and more.”

And for Camden:

“I felt the most stress-free I have ever felt. I could talk and not think before I speak. I could be myself 100%… Bailey makes me feel more loved and appreciated than anyone ever has. She’s the only person who truly understands everything I say.”

Then came the proposal… or, well, proposals. The first attempt was sweet — but a little too public for Bailey’s comfort. Camden got down on one knee, and Bailey (true to form) panicked and made him stand up before he could even get the words out. Don’t worry — she still kept the ring.

The second proposal wasn’t planned in the traditional sense — but it was perfect. On a rocky patch of California shoreline, with the sky dark and the waves crashing beside them, they sat with their heads rested together and arms interlocked.

“It wasn’t a stereotypical proposal,” Camden recalls, “but it was heartfelt, vulnerable, and peaceful… I felt our souls were intertwined completely and waiting for the next step.”

It was never about grand gestures — it was about them. The quiet, certain love they shared in that moment. And that time, Bailey said yes.

What makes our love so strong isn’t just the joy, the laughter, or the meows (though those are important too). It’s the resilience. We’ve been through more than most people our age, but instead of pulling apart, we’ve only grown closer. We’ve chosen each other again and again — and always will.

Bailey loves Camden’s kindness, his traditional values, and how he shows up every single day with love, steadiness, and strength. And in Camden’s words:

“There is not one thing I love the most about Bailey. The best part about loving her is adoring every single aspect of our relationship. Everything blends beautifully, she is my everything and always will be.”

What excites us most about the future isn’t just weddings or milestones — it’s knowing we’ll face life hand-in-hand, no matter what it brings.

“I’m most excited,” Camden says, “to make our own story. To make it beautiful and timeless… If our story were a book or an emotion, it would be saturated with teary-eyed happiness — the feeling of knowing everything is going to be okay.”

And finally, a message from Camden to Bailey:

“You are my best friend. My hope. My drive. You gave me the inspiration, love, and acceptance I never knew I needed. I swear to love you to the end and beyond.”

The rest of our story is still unfolding — full of wings, late-night laughs, teamwork, and love. And we wouldn’t have it any other way.
